The 'Happyr Tracking' Study

‘Happyr Tracking’ is a study conducted in collaboration between Happyr Health and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. We want to find out how children’s and teen’s like Happyr, a self-management app for young people with primary headaches.

How to join the study

1. Read info sheet

Read the participant information sheet(s) (PIS) to understand what your involvement in the study would look like.

2. Join the study

If you want to join the study, send an email to heatherrostron[at]nhs.net with your email address (for Android users: Gmail address).

3. Download the app

You'll get a link to download the Happyr app for iOS or Android. Below are videos for guidance.

4. Get started

After giving your consent in the app, you will get an access link to the Happyr app. Within the 8 weeks of using it, you'll get two short surveys.

iOS download instructions

  1. In the Appstore, download the app called TestFlight (it’s for free).
  2. Accept the invitation to Happyr which you will get on the email address you provided.
  3. The link will automatically direct you to TestFlight where you’ll see the Happyr app. 
  4. Click on Install.
  5. The app will be downloaded to your phone and you can start using it.  

Android download instructions

  1. You will get an email in your Gmail account with a link to download the Happyr app.
  2. Click on the link and download the Happyr app. 
  3. The app will appear on your phone and you can start using it.
